Napoli formalize the arrival of Raspadori

The Italian club have announced the arrival of the international to strengthen their attacking sector.

Naples, particularly active in the transfer market this week, formalized the arrival of 22-year-old Italian international striker Giacomo Raspadori from Sassuolo on Saturday evening.

Trained in Sassuolo, Raspadori played his first championship as a starter last season. He currently has 18 goals scored in 76 appearances in Serie A, since his first appearance in May 2019.

He wore the jersey of the Italian team 13 times (3 goals), with which he was notably European champion in the summer of 2021, with an appearance at the end of the match in the 1st round against the country of Wales (1-0).

This arrival in Naples follows those announced Thursday and Friday, in the form of loans with an option to buy, of the Argentine striker Giovanni Simeone (Hellas Verona) and the French midfielder Tanguy Ndombélé (Tottenham). Napoli is also in advanced discussions with Paris-SG for the transfer of Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, confined to a role of N.2 in France.
