MotoGP schedule: Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring circuit

The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha YZR M 1), leader of the 2022 MotoGP World Championship and current champion of the category, has said that last year he felt very good in the “Red Bull Ring” of Spielberg and that he does not believe that it is “a bad circuit” for his aspirations.

“I felt good in the second race last year, although I finished seventh, because until the rain I was fighting for the victory and when it comes to pace, I think it’s not a bad circuit for us, but where we have more problems is with overtaking, although I think that with the variant it will be a little better”, said the French driver convinced.

Referring to the new variant of the Austrian layout, he said that he does not believe that “it will be negative cut speed, It will be better for safety and also for the bike”.

“I am pushing Yamaha to the maximum to bring us something, but there is nothing else and as a rider I’m getting better and I have taken a big step forward, so I hope to be able to give more until the end of the season”, assures the world leader with hope.
