Mercato: Bernardo Silva reduced price, Bara would have an agreement! – Soccer

Determined to recruit Bernardo Silva to complete his crazy transfer window in style, FC Barcelona would have reached an agreement with Manchester City, a fairly advantageous price.

Bernardo Silva on the departure after 5 years Manchester City?

After Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha or Jules Kound, FC Barcelona could well offer a last gift to its supporters during this transfer window.

It’s no secret that the Blaugrana are eyeing Bernardo Silva and the attacking midfielder from Manchester City dreams of joining his favorite club. There has even been talk for several days of an agreement between the two parties.

A 50-55 M€ agreement!

There remained a major obstacle to overcome in this case: the 93 million euros claimed by Manchester City to free the 27-year-old Portuguese, under contract until June 2025 and considered one of Pep Guardiola’s darlings. And yet, this problem is about to be solved! Generally well informed about Bara news, journalist Gerard Romero announced on Tuesday an agreement between the two clubs for a transfer of the former Mongasque for 50-55 M€! This would be a very interesting price compared to the price mentioned and even significantly lower than the estimated value of the player on the specialized site Transfermarkt (80 M€).

How to finance this movement?

If this information is confirmed, the Catalan club would therefore have obtained a nice discount. There would still remain a big question to answer: how to finance this movement? Initially, the arrival of Silva seemed conditioned by the departure of Frenkie de Jong, who clings and has just failed Manchester United and Chelsea. According to the latest news, this condition is however no longer relevant as soon as the Dutch midfielder agrees to lower his salary (which has not yet been won).

This Tuesday, the local press also claimed that the reigning Spanish vice-champion activated a 4th financial lever this summer by selling 24.5% of Bara Studios to the GDA Luma fund in exchange for €100 million, but this money was to rather serve to validate the registration of recruits and not finance the arrival of another. There is therefore still a certain vagueness, but one thing is certain: Silva, who has already started looking for a house in Barcelona, is constantly getting closer to Catalonia…
