Bismack Biyombo is on the shelves of the Boston Celtics as confirmed by part of the local press quoting a leader of the Massachusetts franchise.
It was Brad Stevens, the president of basketball operations for this franchise, who said, citing his prowess last season knowing the player is not the 1st choice in Phoenix for his position.
“He’s the kind of find the Celtics could really use in this hole, a guy who blocks some shots, plays good defense and keeps the fort on the bench. If Phoenix has injuries and is really disappointing, maybe he ends up on the market, but they really like what he did for them last year,” he said.
The Congolese pivot recently signed a one-season extension with the Phoenix Suns to which he did a lot of good on his arrival after the injury of Deandre Ayton.
