Ezkurdia and Berriozar’s defender, powerful again, temporize after taking a 1-10 lead but win to lead the Masters

Jon Mariezkurrena comfortably approved the first of his two calls at the Aritzbatalde. The opportunity to improve the note will come next Sunday in Zarautz itself, in the combination with capital letters. Who else, who least thinks about the clash between the two best current couples: Laso-Mariezkurrena and Altuna-Zabaleta.

The summer does not make a dent at the moment in the right of Berriozar’s defender. Unapproachable at the beginning, he finished three of the first five goals of his pair. Then three more would arrive. He asks Zabaleta to gauge his progression more precisely.

Their striker, Ezkurdia, joined the party: 1-8 in ten minutes and 2-11 in a quarter of an hour. The development of the game gave the reason for the difference in the starting odds. With bettors leaning in favor of Ezkurdia and Mariezkurrena, forties to hundreds were crossed down.

Urrutikoetxea and Rezusta, aware that their chances of depending on themselves so as not to fall already eliminated lay in reaping the first victory, they did not give up. A two wall volley by Ezkurdia that bounced in the backcourt and two service remains by Mariezkurrena II to the upper mattress gave them a break. The one from Zaratamo and the one from Bergara put in work and ability to take advantage of the favorable occasions that were presented to them to reduce the disadvantage and approach two goals twice: 12-14 and 15-17.

However, the superiority of the blues in the rally was evident. Mariezkurrena’s right commanded against a tenacious Rezusta but with difficulties to counteract the punch of the opponent in the defense. Berriozar’s player corroborated his ability to find height from the right when they squeezed him. He also played intentionally to the southpaw’s right. He lacked this time the solidity that he has shown in recent weeks. The third two walls of Ezkurdia made it 15-18 and started the final stretch at 16-22.

After this result, Ezkurdia and Mariezkurrena II depend on themselves on the last day to finish first. If they win, to the semifinals. Urrutikoetxea and Rezusta, on the other hand, will say goodbye to the Masters if Laso and Martija win this afternoon in Azkoitia.
