Manfred Tiefenbach – Weppersdorf Grandmaster: Focus on martial arts for 40 years

“A black belt is a white belt that has never stopped training”, this sentence from Grandmaster Manfred Tiefenbach hits the nail on the head. The success story began when Manfred Tiefenbach realized as a child that sport would play an important role in his life.

“I found out that football isn’t the only sport for me. Motivated by films by Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris and Co., it soon became clear where my further sporting path would lead me. In 1982 I started judo and combined it with weight training for a few years and graduations. With the beginning of the karate training it was clear that this is more what I was looking for”, says Grandmaster Manfred Tiefenbach. He has been self-employed in martial arts since 2008 and has been teaching for 24 years.
