The Los Angeles Lakers revealed the classic uniform they will wear in the 2022-23 season on the occasion of their 75th anniversary in the league.
In honor of their 75th season, the Lakers have unveiled a Classic Edition jersey that recreates the team’s first home uniform in a memento of the franchise’s journey from the Midwest to the West from Minneapolis to Los Angeles.
The uniform features the blue and gold color scheme of the 1950s Minneapolis Lakers era, with “Lakers” written in the original Minneapolis typeface.

The numbers are displayed on the front and back of the jersey in 1950s-era Minneapolis blue and the 1970s and 1980s Nike swoosh is back in modern form.
On the left shoulder is the bibigo logo, the official patch partner of the Lakers jersey. At the bottom left of the jersey is the Nike Classic Edition sport tag.
The Lakers hope to achieve better results in the coming season, after a 2021-22 season that gave them many headaches and bad moments.
