Kyrie Irving also does not want the permanence of Steve Nash in the Nets

Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving would also disagree with coach Steve Nash and general manager Sean Marks staying on, Mark Sanchez and Josh Kosman of the New York Post reported.

This situation comes on top of recent reports that Kevin Durant demanded team owner Joe Tsai fire Nash and Marks or otherwise trade him as soon as possible, which of course puts the Nets in a uncomfortable situation for the 2022-23 season.

“Our front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets,” Tsai said on his Twitter account Tuesday.

The Nets have tried to trade Durant since the star player asked to be traded, but the high price they are demanding to let him go has prevented them from agreeing with another franchise.
