Jhon Arias performance at Fluminense | Brazilian | Colombians Abroad

The role of Colombians in soccer abroad is becoming more relevant. Whatever the league, his performance is to be admired. In the South American area, they do not stop attracting attention. For one reason or another, they arrived as unknowns and ended up consolidating themselves or from Colombia, raising their yield curve.

This is the case of Jhon Arias, who has been fulfilling great performances in Brazilian soccer. The 24-year-old winger began his career at Llaneros, back in 2018. Little by little, he began to attract the attention of the first division clubs. Patriotas believed in him, they took him and in just one year he showed all his conditions.

For 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, America bet on him. Despite not being the most regular, under the command of Cruz Real, he played a total of 10 games as a starter, in addition to being crowned champion with the Scarlets.

The scarlets did not continue with him and went to Santa Fe, where he stood out in 2021, staying until August. Since he has been at Fluminense, he has played a total of 61 games, contributing 13 goals and 10 assists, a fairly high number for a player who comes from the flank to join the attack.

All the good football that he has shown in a year with Fluminense, allowed him to be part of the microcycle that the Colombia National Team recently carried out, under the command of Héctor Cárdenas, where he was one of the highlights.

Although there are no offers, their level is increasing and they will surely arrive. Currently, its market value is one million euros.
