Jean-Michel Mipoka strengthens Orleans – BeBasket

Orléans Loiret Basket continues to expand its workforce for next season. The club has just formalized this Friday the arrival of Jean Michel Mopoka (1.98m, 36 years old).

Trained at Cholet Basket, the winger has solid experience in the French league with more than 327 matches in Betclic ÉLITE and 178 PRO B matches to his credit. These last two seasons, he played under the colors of Fos Provence in Pro B then in Betclic ÉLITE this year where he shot 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists for 5.5 evaluation in 20 minutes of play.

Next season, he will evolve in Orléans in Pro B and will be one of the experienced players according to his new coach Germain Castano, who praised his longevity in the elite and a very good basketball IQ, on the club’s official website:

He is an experienced player with a long history in both divisions. He arrives in a shooter role on positions 3 and 4. It’s a luxury rotation for our team. He has a very good Basketball IQ. It will facilitate the integration of young people into our group!
