FC Bayern has recently been closely associated with a commitment from Harry Kane. The 29-year-old should therefore be at the top of Munich’s wish list in the summer of 2023. But President Herbert Hainer doesn’t want to know anything about it.
Club boss Oliver Kahn and Julian Nagelsmann recently raved publicly about Harry Kane. According to current media reports, the England star should be a serious candidate at Bayern Munich should the experiment fail without a real nine this season.
“Our offensive is top-class”
In conversation with the “Abendzeitung München” President Herbert Hainer commented on the ongoing speculation for the first time and made it clear that Kane is not a specific issue for the record champions: “No. Many players have long-term contracts, the framework is in place, we can plan the next steps at our leisure.”
However, the 68-year-old left a back door open: “But we will continue to keep an eye on the market in general – without being under pressure to do anything. Our offensive is top-class.”
In addition to Harry Kane, Christopher Nkunku should also be on Bayern’s wish list. According to “BILD”, the Bayern bosses first want to wait and see how the new offensive around Sadio Mané & Co. develops this season.
