Graulhet. Archery: full box for the archers of Dadou

the essential
The Dadou archers organized the regional 3D target archery championship.

During the weekend of July 23 and 24, the Regional Archery Championship on 3D targets (compensated foam animals) took place, the organization of which had been entrusted to the Archers du Dadou. Full house for them, the hundred participants, from all the departments of Occitania, declared themselves delighted by the easily accessible and particularly shaded course, but nevertheless technical to very technical – championship obliges.

Located on the heights of Peyrole, the course had attracted those who were looking for a regional title, or simply to improve their scores before the French Championship which will take place in mid-August near Bordeaux, but also big names in the discipline: Robin Gardeur , Christophe Grivotet, David Jackson, Danièle Ramos, Arnaud Lasperches. These Occitan archers are part of the France 3D team and have won a number of European and world medals. Good scores, on classic targets, but also on new “beasts”: badger, vulture, otter, beaver whose distance and location had to be assessed and scoring the highest number of points, because the areas are not always very visible. Alongside the Occitania Championship, on Saturday, a selective competition had been organised, and the archers could therefore take part in 1, 2, 3 or 4 starts over the weekend: those outside Occitania, from Gironde, Brittany, Provence or Champagne were thus able to discover the beautiful Tarn region and the flawless competitions organized by the Archers of Dadou. “Let’s bet that they will come back on occasion, whether for the Tir Nature in October or in the spring, or for the 3D next year!” hopes President Aline Vincent.
