[강진=뉴스핌] Reporter Eun-jung Cho = The ‘2022 National Secondary Badminton Excellent Team Stove League’ is being held at the Gangjin Indoor Gymnasium from the 6th to the 10th.
The tournament is organized by the Gangjin-gun Badminton Association and sponsored by the Gangjin-gun and Gangjin-gun Sports Association.
About 600 players from 30 teams participated, including the Gwangju Che High Badminton Club, which was directed by Kim Myung-ja from Gangjin and to which national representative star Ahn Se-young belongs, the nation’s strongest Daesung Girls’ High School, and Daejeon Beopdong Middle School badminton club.

The military actively hosts national badminton competitions and national team training every year, attracting attention as the nation’s best training ground, leading to revitalization of the local economy.
Joo Min-wook, president of the Gangjin-gun Badminton Association, said, “The Stove League is a stove league held to nurture the dream tree of badminton and expand its base. We will actively support it at the level of the association,” he said.
Gangjin-gun Kang Jin-won said, “I was moved by the young players playing with amazing concentration and passion. We will do our best to create 5,000 jobs, realize an annual income of 50 million won per household, and achieve an era of 50,000 people in Gangjin.”
