The Raf travels to Nîmes, Saturday August 13, on behalf of the 3rd day of Ligue 2.
A week after his heavy defeat against the Girondins at home (3-0), Rodez has an appointment with Nîmes this Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Costières stadium to revive. The two formations are currently in the same situation, since they both pocketed only one point during the first two days of the championship: against Quevilly for Rodez (0-0) and against Saint-Etienne for Nîmes (1-1 ). The teams led by Laurent Peyrelade and Nicolas Usaï will therefore seek to obtain their first success of the season.
The Ruthenian coach will be able to count on a group of 18 players, including the two recruits of the week, Kévin Boma and Loris Mouyokolo. The central defense manager, Joris Chougrani, is affected in the hamstrings and does not appear in the workforce which moved Friday afternoon in the Gard. Lucas Buadès and Amiran Sanaia (recovery) are still missing. For his part, former captain Pierre Bardy is suspended for this meeting.
Nicolas Usaï will also have to do without one of his executives. Indeed, the Nîmes captain, Nicolas Benezet, is suffering from his right ankle and will not be in the game. His usual replacement for the position of number 10, Yassine Benrahou was feverish in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. His coach then feared that his player was positive for Covid. To be continued…
