FK Cukaricki has proved to be a good loser. The club hands out the compliments to FC Twente through the official channels, especially the supporters.
“Cukaricki had no luck in the draw and it was quite clear that Twente was a big favourite. That fact was proven in both matches and the team from the Netherlands deserved to advance to the Europa Conference League play-off”, can be read. “Twente belongs to the group of European football giants. Not only because of the quality of the team, but also for many other reasons.”
The club continues: “There are things that money cannot buy. And Twente owns these things, which make this club great! The most valuable thing was that Cukaricki got applause from the 22,500 Twente supporters. Maybe it is something that we are not used to. Those are the things you can’t buy with money. And for that reason we would like to thank FC Twente once again.”
