Real Unión made official this Monday the transfer of Georgian Giorgi Gagua (Tbilisi, 2001) for one season from Deportivo Alavés. The new txuribeltz attacker joined the Albiazul quarry in the summer of 2019 and last year he was an important part of the Gasteiz subsidiary that achieved promotion to the Second RFEF.
The name of Gagua may be familiar to Real Unión fans from his time at the Stadium Gal in November 2020. With Alavés B of an old man known as Iñaki Alonso, he participated in the two goals that gave the babazorros the victory , assisting in the first and scoring in the second.
