• Estonia, the vice-leader of Group C, defeated Finland 3-0 (11, 7, 15) away from the Faroe Islands to enter the final tournament.
• There were no tense endings in the other fights that took place on Wednesday either. In one of the most important matches, the Slovakian national team beat the Hungarians in three sets (20, 22, 22), advancing to second place in Group F.
• The winners of each of the seven subgroups, as well as the five best runners-up, will enter the final tournament of the European Masters.
