Farewell to Francesca Concolato, the Baby Idea entrepreneur specializing in baby products

BORGORICCO – She left on Saturday, at the Camposampiero hospital, Francesca Concolato, 78 years oldfounder of the historic company Baby Idea, specialized in the production and sale of items for early childhood. She was hospitalized in the long-term geriatric ward since last July 24th. Recently she had been diagnosed with an oncological disease already at an advanced stage which got worse in a very short time. She died on Saturday, at noon, surrounded by the affection of her loved ones: her son Fabio Emanuele, her daughter-in-law Lucia, her beloved nephews Marco, Denise and Alessandro, her sister Giovanna and her brother-in-law Gianni. Dismay in the village where Francesca was a well-known, loved and respected woman. Temperamentally cheerful and sociable with everyone, she was always ready to help her community by donating fabrics or materials where needed.

A widow for several years, six years ago she found herself facing the worst of mourning for a mother, the sudden and premature death of her 50-year-old son Mauro. «She was a woman with great determination, she remembers her son Fabio Emanuele moved, she has always been guided by the desire to reach her goals, by a great spirit of perseverance. She founded her business on her own and always guided it with determination. ” Her employees also remember her as a great lover of her work and yesterday they wanted to honor her by staying in the company to carry on the business that Francesca had created with so many sacrifices. She started in the early 70’s with a textile manufacturing workshop in Villanova. Over the years, together with her two children, she has diversified and expanded production. In 1986 she had bought a house in Borgoricco with an adjoining production laboratory to which, a few years later, she joined a retail store in the sector of early childhood products. Her funeral will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 in the church of Borgoricco.
