Social networks completely exploded this Friday, after the Chelsea officially present his new signing for the 2022-23 season: Marc Cucurella.
Although he is a player who stood out last season in Premier Leaguewhat was really striking about the matter was the “dispute” that took place between Fabrizio Romanorenowned journalist specializing in transfers, and the Brightonclub in which Cucurella played.
The dilemma began when Romano posted on his Twitter account that the arrival of the Spanish side to the London box was practically readyall in the midst of the supposed interest that there was also of the Manchester City.
As is often the case in networks, his trill was filled with interactions and even several British media relied on this information to give Blues fans the good news.
Surprisingly, Brighton himself posted a message on his official account denying everything: “Contrary to incorrect reports from numerous media this afternoon, no agreement has been reached with any club for the sale of Marc Cucurella”.
The messages to Fabrizio grew considering that he is a journalist with solid sources and whose scoops almost 100 percent end up being true. Meanwhile, he just trilled: “We’ll see who lied”.
Later, Chelsea issued a statement confirming the transfer of Cucurella and presented it in style. Likewise, Brighton deleted the statement in which he denied everything and of course the jokes came.
