Is FC Bayern still reducing its squad?
Storm talent Joshua Zirkzee (21) is still a sales candidate for the record champions. The Dutchman was already on loan to the Belgian record champion RSC Anderlecht last season (18 competitive goals).
It is said that he is drawn back there again. At least that’s what his former teammate Wesley Hoedt (28) says. Hoedt to the newspaper “Het Laatste Nieuws”: “I spoke to Joshua. He really wants to return to Anderlecht.”
FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart were also considered new employers, but are out of the picture in view of Bayern’s transfer fee (15 million euros).
However, Anderlecht recently sold Sergio Gomez to Manchester City, so they could pay the fee. Bayern had parted ways with bench presser Tanguy Nianzou (FC Sevilla).
If the transfer takes place, FC Bayern would break the 100 million mark in transfer income for the first time.
