In May, Eintracht Frankfurt brought the European Cup victory to the Main, 140,000 fans celebrated to the point of ecstasy on the Römer and welcomed “their” players with loud cheers. Before that there was an hour-long car parade through the city with “players to touch”.
And all of that really weighed in. The municipal Tourismus und Congress Frankfurt GmbH (TCF) organized the festival. Now the sum that had to be put on the table has become known: at least 1.3 million euros!
600 private security forces had to be paid.
A huge LED video wall was broken by stones thrown. If the insurance does not pay for the damage, another 100,000 euros will be added, according to the TCF.
