At the Dutch championships proudly in Winsum on Saturday afternoon, August 27, the Koudumse Else Klijn Velderman took first place in the girls up to 10 years and can therefore call herself Dutch champion. Two weeks ago, Else also became Friesian champion fierljeppen.
She won the Dutch championship with her last jump. After the first jumps Fardou Schaap was in first place with a jump of 8.10. In the first final jump Else jumped wet, but in the second final jump she came to 8.22 and Fardou couldn’t get over that.
And so there was this wonderful success at the Dutch Championship fierljeppen with the girls up to 10 years old for Else Klijn Velderman from Koudum, who plays for fierljep association It Heidenskip. In the evening there was also a small success for Else’s older sister. In the 1st-class competition for the Dutch girls’ championship, Emma Klijn Velderman took a nice third place.
