Euro hero Kostic leaves Frankfurt
Now the transfer theater has actually come to an end! Eintracht’s wing star Filip Kostic (29) is about to move to Juventus.
According to BILD information, after lengthy negotiations, both clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of around EUR 17 million plus possible bonuses for Kostic, who still has a contract in Frankfurt until 2023.
Eintracht’s sports director Markus Krösche traveled to Italy on Monday for the final negotiations.
Kostic attended the final training session before the Supercup against Real Madrid in Frankfurt that morning, but he was already wearing the B-Elf jersey and will not fly to Helsinki with the team.

Then he was the last to cycle through the forest back to the professional camp and gave a few autographs to say goodbye.
Krösche explains the forthcoming change: “We have always said that we would not put any obstacles in his way if an offer was good for all sides and that we would be willing to talk. We are currently in promising talks with another club and a solution is emerging. Against this background, we decided – also at the request of the possible new club – to play the game against Real Madrid without Filip.”
A departure from Eintracht’s wing star had been apparent for weeks. Kostic had long agreed on a contract with Juve.
