Dodgers reach 80 wins and Julio Urías is credited with the win

MEXICO CITY, August 15 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Mexican pitcher Julio Urías reached his 13th win of the season on Monday and the Dodgers Los Angeles are the first team in the Major Leagues to reach 80 wins, in a 4-0 shutout away from Los Angeles. Milwaukee Brewers.

El Culichi (13-6) pitched for 5 innings, allowed 4 hits, walked 2 and prescribed 6 strikeouts, leaving his ERA at 2.40.

The Dodgers went ahead from the first inning with a solo home run from Freddie Freeman before pitches from the starter Freddy Peralta (4-3), who took the loss.

In the fifth, Will Smith’s sacrifice fly made it 2-0 and in the sixth, Gavin Lux’s two-run homer sealed the match.

Los Angeles currently has the best record in the MLB: 80-34 and is on its way to winning the East division of the National League.
