A 29-year-old remains seriously injured in the east of Stuttgart. The police are looking for three unknown men.
A 29-year-old suffered serious injuries in a stabbing in the east of Stuttgart. The background to the argument, which took place around 9.30 p.m. on Sunday evening on the open street in Metzstrasse, is still unclear. The police at least have a few testimonies about the course of events that took place in the section between Neckarstrasse and Reitzensteinstrasse.
In addition to the 29-year-old, three other men are said to have been involved in the argument. “They were about the same age as the victim,” says police spokeswoman Ilona Bonn. Witnesses found the 29-year-old bleeding on the ground and saw the men running away to Reitzensteinstrasse. One of the suspects has long hair and a beard, another was wearing a green T-shirt, and one of the perpetrators is said to have been wearing a white baseball cap. Everyone wore shorts.
Escape to the palace garden?
The police are investigating an attempted homicide and are hoping for further information from the seriously injured victim, who had to be hospitalized. For the time being, it remains unclear whether the person concerned knew the attackers or at least knows how to classify them. The spot is not far from the jetty to the lower castle garden.
