Sangaré gave PSV the lead shortly before half-time after a corner by Gakpo, but Rangers were right past Colak a few minutes later. In the fourth quarter, Ismael Saibari came close to a new lead for PSV a few times, but the Moroccan who trained at Anderlecht was unable to complete his strong individual actions. Goalkeeper Benitez let a free kick from Lawrence slip through his hands halfway through the second period: 2-1 (see video below). But the equalizer quickly followed, a header from Obispo after another corner from Gakpo.
