Cut by the Bucks, with whom he had re-signed for at least 1 year last month, Rayjon Tucker will sign with Melbourne United in the NBL (Australia). His contract money signed with Milwaukee was not guaranteed for 2022-23.
The Bucks had 21 players on their roster before cutting it, one too many for training camp. This could be a sign of an upcoming decision regarding Jordan Nworafree agent with restrictions.
In 39 NBA games between Utah, Philadelphia, Denver and Milwaukee, Tucker played just 7.7 minutes per game for 3-point average. He has been more active in the G-League, scoring 21.1 points per game for the Herd in 27 appearances this season.
The Bucks waived shooting guard Rayjon Tucker today. Tucker is signing a deal with Melbourne United in the NBL, the first overseas stint of his professional career.
