The coach of the national judo team, Me Alvin Ngakosso, better known by Me Amigo, passed away on August 8, following a traffic accident.

Congolese judo has just lost one of its fervent actors, Me Alvin Ngakosso known as Amigo José Mourinho. It was in a press release signed by the president of the Congolese Federation of Judo and associated disciplines, Me Francis Ata, that his death was formalized.

A great trainer and renowned coach, this now deceased leader and main trainer of Kodo Kagu Cha has done a lot for judo in Congo. He was in preparation with the national team for the African Youth Games in Egypt.
