Climbing – Flohé in the semifinals – Sport

Germany’s top climber, Yannick Flohé, confidently made it into the bouldering semi-finals at the European Championships in Munich. The 22-year-old from the Aachen section survived the qualification on Thursday just as effortlessly as Christoph Schweiger (Ringsee). Olympian Alexander Megos (Erlangen) completes the German trio in the round of the top 20 on Saturday. Philipp Martin (Allgäu-Kempten) and Max Kleesattel (Schwäbisch Gmünd) missed the leap into the semifinals. Flohé, who won his first World Cup in bouldering in Brixen in June, is one of the medal candidates. The German Alpine Club starts with 20 athletes at the European Championships.
