Cijaa won medals at the República Center

The 34th edition of the Centro República Tournament was held at the Espacio Mónaco in Carlos Paz, one of the most important on the national judo calendar, which featured with the participation of more than 1100 judokas from all provinces of our country and from neighboring countries such as Paraguay and Uruguay in different categories.

The Centro Integral de Judo Alfredo Acosta (Cijaa) had an outstanding performance achieving seven podiums. It is worth mentioning that the San Francisco institution participated in this edition with twelve judokas from the two branches and in different categories.

Among the medals obtained were three silver with León Bertorello in CMN up to 73 kilos, Julieta Taborda in IAF in more than 52 kilos and Lautaro Do Santo in IBM in less than 58 kilos.

He also won four bronze medals with Iñaki Serrano in CMG up to 81 kilos, Trinidad Ribodino in IAF under 52 kilos, Andrés Ortega in IAM under 48 kilos and Joaquín Arri in IAM over 52 kilos.

Judokas Mateo Cortecini, Facundo Viroglio, Piuqué Savid, Santiago Ludueña and María Luz Bustos also participated but could not reach podiums.
