Chile beat Uruguay at the start of the South American Women’s Basketball Championship

It was 55 to 43 in the covered stadium of the “Ave Fénix”. At 4:30 p.m., the action moved to the Arena La Pedrera Stadium with the game between Ecuador and Paraguay. Argentina will debut at 20:30.

The wait is over. This Monday began the South American Women’s Basketball Championship, which has La Pedrera Park and the “Ave Fénix” as venues.

At 2:30 p.m., for Group B, Chile and Uruguay jumped onto the parquet floor of the emblematic Juana Koslay stadium to start the competition. It was a Chilean victory by 55 to 43, in a match in which the experience of the trans-Andeans defined the game in their favor. At 18:30, Brazil and Colombia will play.

At 4:30 p.m., Ecuador and Paraguay made their Group A debut at the Arena La Pedrera Stadium.

At 8:30 pm, also in Villa Mercedes, Argentina will begin the defense of the South American title, nothing more and nothing less than against Venezuela.
