With the signings of Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and now Carney Chukwuemeka, Chelsea have made some great moves in this summer transfer window. However, consultant Gary Neville is not thrilled with the work done by new Blues owner Todd Boehly and his teams.

“The American Todd Boehly, it looks like he wants to play Football Manager. He wanders around a bit and at the club they now seem a bit panicked. One wonders for example if he is not coming to get Frenkie de Jong because that he feels like he has to do something (…) He would not have had this pressure if he had kept the people who were there, if he had let them manage for one or two years. ..) Firstly, these managers react to what is available and what other clubs are doing. Secondly, we hear the name Boehly too much, it takes up too much space”, criticized the former Manchester United player, as part of the Overlap podcast.
