Carlos Antonio Vélez criticizes Gerardo Pelusso and the Santa Fe that he directed

Carlos Antonio Velez rejected in Antenna 2 the statements of Gerard Pelusso, who won the continental title with the albirrojo team in 2015, when César Pastrana was president of the club.

“The gentleman, very horondo, He said that today’s Santa Fe is another company, another team… From the outset, they began to minimize it”, pointed out the commentator by way of introduction.

And he regretted that the strategist had praised Pastrana: “Pelusso began in prose before a proscribed man in Santa Fe and resigned with very weighty reasons to the Colombian Football Federation. Also, they tell me that [Pastrana] He’s living abroad.”

Then, he contradicted the Uruguayan by considering that the Independent Santa Fe today “has less tarnished his image and its brand.

However, the analyst’s onslaught did not stop there, as he began to uncover apparent dark chapters to the squad that the Uruguayan led between 2015 and 2016.

The analyst wanted to refresh the strategist’s memory about alleged management that would have existed in the ‘Red Express’ when he conquered the South American Cup.

“Pelusso forgets how the titles were achieved and the cost that this had, even aggravated by the celebrations”, he began.

And he raised the tone: “He forgets that they even had a complaint of raped prostitutes in a hotel in Bogotá.”

“They had to pay them a very large compensation, they say, to some of them so that they would be calm and withdraw the complaint. Some players had to leave the country. Don’t you remember that episode? continuous.

In addition, Vélez affirmed that there were more implications due to that event: “They hired prestigious lawyers to call some journalists and tell them that You couldn’t touch the subject anymore.”

That was how Vélez ended up agreeing with Pelusso, albeit ironically: “It’s true, that was another team, with more titles, but less prestige and a great devaluation of the brand”.

Finally, he launched several lashes at the coach: “Pelusso, tacaste butter … Too bad, if you don’t know today’s Santa Fe and today’s drivers, skip any sort of qualifying. Rate yours and say what you want, but respect the people who have had to row today receiving a legacy with a strange smell”.
