Campus at the Jockey with Nadia Podoroska as godmother

With Nadia Podoroska as godmother, the Women’s Tennis Department of the Santa Fe Federation organized this weekend a Campus for women at the Jockey Club of Rosario, in which 150 girls from Rosario and the region participated.

During the previous weeks, Podoroska, summoned and motivated the smallest to participate in this innovative activity that was going to be carried out for the first time in the city: “Hello girls, I wanted to invite you to the first Women’s Campus organized by the much-loved Santa Fe Federation, so you can get to know each other and enjoy playing tennis.” The response was immediate and Within a few days the quota was sold out.

The event lasted for much of Sunday and the girls who ranged from 8 to 12 years old, according to the level of play, participated in the Red, Orange or Green stages, with different activities, exercises, games and practice on the court. Those responsible for the start-up were the former players and current coaches: Juliana Aramberri, Micaela Nadal and Laura Scapagliati.

The goal of event was recreational and educational, so that the girls from the different clubs get to know each other and take an apprenticeship. Also A record of each player was made with their respective evaluation and general diagnosis of women’s tennis in the region.in order to plan future actions.
