Cameron Smith, the next to join LIV Golf?

Australian PGA Tour player Cameron Percy has dropped a bombshell on RSN Radio when he claims last year’s British Open winner Cameron Smith will be leaving the PGA to join controversial LIV Golf. His other Australian compatriot Marc Leishman would also have signed an agreement with the new circuit, which competes with the PGA.

Always according to Percy who occupies the 341e world ranking, Cameron Smith will leave the PGA Tour after the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Following his victory at St. Andrews on July 17, Smith brushed aside questions about his future on the Saudi-funded tour.

After the PGA playoffs, Smith, who ranks second in the world, could make his debut in the LIV whose next stop will be in Boston in early September. His arrival in the circuit would therefore close the doors of the PGA, as was the case for Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson in particular.
