La Peña Riojana and Calahorra Basket organized last weekend the thirty-sixth edition of the 24 Hours of Basketball at the Quintiliano school and the Europa Pavilion.
The league matches were played on Saturday and Sunday morning with the participation of twelve teams
On Sunday, at 6:00 p.m., the final of the women’s category was held, a triple contest and then the men’s final. The trophies were then presented.
Ruth Mateo (Chipironas) was the best player in the final that Chipironas won against Calahorra Basket.
In the men’s duel, the best athlete was Daniel Duque, from ABQ Legends, a team that beat Talegueros.
Marcos Bella, from the Panathimakos team, took home the award for the three-point contest.
On the other hand, on Monday the twelfth edition of the mini-basketball tournament took place at the Quintiliano school. Fantics Team won in the Alevín and Berón 2012 category in Benjamín. In the skills contest, the best were Beltrán Cámara (Alevín) and Esther Villar (Benjamín).
