Rumors about the Barça star and BVB!

In the search for a replacement for Sebastién Haller (28), Borussia Dortmund is associated with many big names.

According to information from the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, BVB should now be courting Barça attacker Memphis Depay (28).

But BILD knows: So far there has been no contact between the player and the black and yellow.

Depay has been repeatedly traded on the club’s alleged strike lists in recent weeks. According to “Mundo Deportivo” he is said to have already realized that there will be no more playing time for him in the club next season.

As the “Sport” further reports, the Catalans originally wanted 20 million euros for Depay. In the meantime, it should have been realized that the demands must be significantly reduced. What is certain, however, is that Depay will “definitely” not go for free.

The Dutchman is said to collect around €12m a year from the Catalans. Since his contract expires next summer, a loan is also not possible. Unless Barça would extend with him.

With that, BVB would be out! A fee and a big salary is too much. The Pott-Klub has already invested 86 million euros in transfer payments in the squad change. The one-year package doesn’t fit Dortmund’s €10 million budget.

For Dortmund’s king transfer Sébastien Haller (28), who came from Ajax Amsterdam for 31 million euros and is out for several months after a testicular cancer diagnosis and chemotherapy, they only want to offer a cheap model.

An annual contract, a rental model or preferably free of charge is possible.

BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke in the “Sportschau” interview: “Now dumping everything on Youssoufa Moukoko’s shoulders – he’s 17 years old – that might be a bit much. So I think we’ll do something again in terms of personnel. Ideally, something should happen in the next eight to ten days, although finding a really good solution is also difficult because the supply on the market is not exactly plentiful.”
