The German Judo Federation invites you to a weekend all about kata
It’s not long until then, but there are still places available. On the third weekend in August, from August 19th to 21st, 2022, the big kata event will take place in the federal training center in Cologne. All judoka from the age of twelve can participate. There is something for everyone: Classic competition kata, kata fun for kids, methodology and didactics on the topic of kata, freestyle / mini kata and much more. In the time between the units and in the evenings there is enough time for exchange next to the mat.
The list of speakers reads like the who’s who of the German kata scene. Among them are three kata world champions alone (Ulla Loosen, Wolfgang Dax-Romswinkel and Jenny Goldschmidt), Stefan Bernreuther and Magnus Jezussek as EJU kata instructors and the DJB kata instructor Sebastian Frey. And of course the various kata teams of the national kata team are also on the mat.
The course is credited with 15 learning units for the extension of trainer licenses.
So don’t hesitate, just register! There are still places available.
