Basketball player Mālmanis is moving from Spain to Lithuania

An agreement with the 26-year-old striker has been reached for one season.

Malmanis spent the previous two seasons in Murcia’s UCAM of the Spanish top league (ACB). Last season in ACB, he averaged 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in six minutes in 21 games.

Before that, he spent two seasons in the Seville “Real Betis” team, which in the spring of 2019 he helped to win the championship of the second Spanish league, or “LEB Oro”, which ensured its return to the ACB.

Mālmanis joined the Sevilla team in the summer of 2018, when he came from the ACB club Vitória “Baskonia”, in whose ranks he also managed to play in the ULEB Euroleague. Mālmanis joined the Vitoria club’s youth system in 2011 and spent the next five seasons in Spain, mostly playing in the national youth championship.
