Basketball: Jalen Harris can return to the NBA

Jalen Harris can now turn the page.

The NBA and the Players Association accepted his request to reinsert him into the league.

Recall that Harris, 24, was suspended for one year by the NBA on 1is July 2021, after testing positive for a substance banned by the league’s drug program.

A native of Dallas, Harris was selected at 59e echelon overall by the Raptors in the 2020 draft. He wore the Toronto team’s uniform for 13 games during the 2020-2021 campaign, playing an average of 13.2 minutes of play.

Harris spent last season with the Scarborough Shooting Stars of the Canadian Elite Basketball League, home to the Montreal Alliance.

Jalen Harris is currently a restricted free agent. His rights are still held by the Toronto Raptors.
