Basketball: 3 years after Tshisekedi’s promise, the Leopards winners of the Afrocan will receive their vehicles this Thursday

The men’s basketball Leopards winners of the 2019 Afrocan in Mali will receive this Thursday, August 4, their vehicles promoted by President Félix Tshisekedi during the reception on August 3, 2019. According to information from ACTUALITE.CD, in sum, sixteen people will obtain this gift from the Head of State including twelve players, two coaches, a doctor and a representative of the basketball federation of Congo (FEBACO).

It took three years for the beasts to win their case. They had to multiply pleas to arrive today, helped in particular by the LISPED of Maître Alain Makengo. The same source affirms that the introduced list composed of about twenty people was not taken into account for suspicion of “cheating”.

The DRC had won the first edition of this competition reserved mainly for players playing on the continent by dominating Kenya (82-61) on July 27, 2019 at the Palais des Sports Salamatou Maiga in Bamako.
