With this victory, he stands in the quarterfinals with morale through the roof after beating the two finalists of the Atlanta ATP: Jenson Broobsky and Alex From Minaur. Against the Aussie, Nishioka came back from a match that he had lost and that he obtained after taking the second of the sets in another sudden death.
