In a new video posted on his Instagram account where he analyzes this time the new player prototypes of the circuit like Carlos Alcaraz compared to the more slender profiles of the Medvedevs, Tsitsipas and Zverev, Patrick Mouratoglou obviously did not forget to quote Nadal and Djokovic which fall into a separate category.

They are really the same prototype physically. And then Alcaraz arrives, he is much smaller, much more muscular, and he has dominated a lot in recent months. This makes the situation surprising and exciting. The prototype of the new tennis player is this: a big serve but you have to be able to return a lot of balls. They are amazing at moving and defending, but if you play a little slower they will attack you. They’re super complete, compared to the past where you had players with one or two amazing shots, but a lot of weaknesses. Now they have almost no weaknesses. If you look at Zverev, Medvedev, of course Novak or Rafa, you see no weaknesses – zero. »
