Argentina and Brazil play at the Arena La Pedrera

For the 16th time in history, Argentina and Brazil, this Saturday, will compete against each other for the gold medal in the South American Women’s Championship. Both teams dominated Colombia and Venezuela in the Semifinals, respectively, to advance to the Grand Final of the tournament that takes place in San Luis. The meeting began at 9:00 p.m. at the Arena La Pedrera, in Villa Mercedes.

The last time the “Albicelestes” and the Brazilians met in the duel for the title was in the last edition of 2018, in Tunja, Colombia. There, Argentina managed to lift the trophy, the second in its history, and put an end to a streak of 16 consecutive crowns that the “green-yellow” brought, who have hung the gold 26 times.
