LAS VEGAS – The boxing fight between Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk will take place this weekend. Heavyweight legend Mike Tyson predicts Joshua will have a hard time anticipating Usyk’s short stroke.

According to Tyson, Usyk has a strong jab and fast movement, which Joshua is unable to match. Jab itself is a fast and short straight punch that targets the opponent’s face.

“Joshua needs to learn to break away from his jab because that’s the only thing he can’t handle which is the jab and the moves, he’s too fast for Joshua,” Tyson said. Daily MailMonday (15/8/2022).

After being delayed, Joshua and Usyk’s fight was confirmed to be held on Saturday (20/8/2022). However, this time they performed in a neutral place, namely in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Joshua activated his rematch clause with Usyk after he lost their first fight in September 2021. The England star was beaten in a 12-round fight at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The defeat also resulted in Joshua’s four heavyweight titles being snatched away by his Ukrainian opponent. The four titles are the WBF, WBO, IBO and IBF titles.

“So Joshua has to put a lot of pressure on him and keep doing it all night. He’s a strong hitter but he has to be active against people like that.”

For information, the second fight between Joshua and Usyk was delayed earlier this year. The reason is, Usyk must take up arms to defend his country which was attacked by Russia.

However, after being given special dispensation to leave, Usyk was finally able to leave his country to start his training camp to prepare for the fight against Joshua. And now, he is ready to beat his rival in Saudi Arabia again.
