The blues still do not know the victory in this preseason

An attractive meeting was offered by Amorebieta and Numancia this Wednesday in Urritxe, in what was the third preparation meeting for Haritz Mujika’s men. The Zornotzarras managed to secure a final draw against the Sorianos, more grounded, thanks to a goal from the young Youssef Issakhi. Two defeats and these tables is the baggage in this preseason for the Biscayans, who convey good feelings but still need much more filming.

The Pasajes coach continues testing both names and positions, trying to find an ‘ideal eleven’ within a completely renovated Amorebieta, and in which even more additions are expected. This same afternoon, for example, Agustín Ale, a Uruguayan center-back who is on trial with the blues, played at the start.

This third bowling of Amorebieta against another rival that they will face during the course was attractive, with the two teams brazenly looking for the rival goal but without success. Sometimes due to the merits of the defenses and others due to the demerits of the attackers themselves.

The first period left a good trail of chances in both goals that Numancia started with a shot by Mahicas that saved Zornotzarra’s defense well. The Catalan striker was a continuous nuisance for the Amorebieta defense. The blue response came in a great combination in which Antonio stood alone in the one-on-one against the rival goalkeeper, but Ayesa guessed his intention and avoided the goal. Urko Izeta also tried it with a direct free kick that brushed the crossbar of the red goal, already past the twenty minute mark.

The baton was taken over by Numancia, who had three good chances to open the scoring before half an hour. One of them in the boots of former Amorebieta player Iker Amorrortu. Although the clearest was the one that Mario Barco had in minute 28, well disrupted by Iker Seguín. The captain crossed in time to deflect to a corner when the goal was practically sung. After the hydration break, it was Amorebieta who struck again, but this time it was Bonaldo who avoided Haritz Mujika’s goal.

The second period did not get off to a good start for Urritxe’s men. Mahicas scored for the Sorianos taking advantage of a loose ball in the area in a somewhat messy action. And practically after the kick-off, Unai Marino -who entered after the break- pulled a save from his sleeve to prevent Bonaldo from scoring the second.

It was difficult for Amorebieta to react, but even so, Josué Dorrio was close to equalizing after skilfully entering the Soria area, although his shot was blocked by Gorka Pérez. Even so, the Numancia showed more integrity. Mahicas caressed the second away goal before the substitution carousel.

As usual in this type of confrontation, the match lost some of its spark and rhythm as the minutes went by. The second hydration break suited Amorebieta better, who was able to equalize thanks to a good shot from youth squad Youssef from outside the area with ten to go.

The last great opportunity of the match was for Numancia, but again the figure of Unai Marino appeared to, with another very worthy intervention, prevent Moha’s goal.
