In the continuation of the official article; Reminding that Akdeniz Municipality Sports Club Wheelchair Basketball Team finished 4th in the 3rd league Play-Off competitions of the 2021-2022 season played in Antalya; As a result of the decision of the Çanakkale team to withdraw from the league, it was stated that the Mediterranean team was entitled to take part in the 2nd League in the 2022-2023 season.

Akdeniz Belediye Sports Club Wheelchair Basketball Team finished the season in the 2nd place in the Group B of the Turkish Wheelchair Basketball League in the 2021-2022 season and qualified to participate in the Play Off matches. The Mediterranean team, which finished 4th in the Play-Off matches played in Antalya, lost the chance to advance to the 2nd league on average. However, Çanakkale Boazgücü Sports Club, competing in the 1st league, announced to the federation in an official summer that it would withdraw from the 1st league and continue its struggle in the third league. In the face of this development, in the picture sent to the Akdeniz Municipality Sports Club Association by the federation, it was noted that the Mediterranean team qualified for the 2nd League.
