Aguilas de Mexicali Announces Pre-Season Schedule | Forward Valley

EL CENTRO — The Mexicali Eagles announced their 2022-2023 preseason calendar, with a view to their preparation within the feathered camp, which will begin on September 12 in El Nido de Los Águilas.

As part of their conditioning prior to their debut in the 2022-2023 LaMP Season, Gil Velázquez’s charges will focus on the El Nido diamond, in daily training sessions on the pitch.

It will be on September 22 when the Eagles take flight to their first commitment prior to the campaign, where they will face Naranjeros de Hermosillo in Maryville, Arizona, on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24, within the first stage of the Mexican Baseball Party, at the home of the Milwaukee Brewers.

In the period from September 25 to 28, the Emplumados will return to Mexicali to continue their practices in various sessions scheduled in the afternoon.

The next stop in the border team’s tour will be in Mesa, Arizona, where the Caballeros Águilas will face Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón on Friday, September 30.

October

On October 1 they will play against a rival to be defined and on Sunday 2 they will face Naranjeros de Hermosillo, to conclude the second stage of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta at Sloan Park.

For Monday, October 3, the cachanillas migrate to the Kino Complex in Tucson, AZ, where they will hold four games scheduled from October 5 to 8, against teams from MLB branches, Yaquis de Obregón and Mayos de Navojoa.

Once their 9 preparation matches are over, Los Águilas de Mexicali will travel to Monterrey, Nuevo León, to face Sultanes on the opening day next Tuesday, October 11.

Both novenas will support the trip back to the capital of Baja California, for the opening game of Los Águilas de Mexicali at home before their fans, starting on Thursday, October 13.
