ANALIG Basketball Quarter-Final Competitions held in Afyonkarahisar ended in the men’s and women’s categories. Medals were given to the teams that achieved a degree in the matches where 13 teams and 283 athletes participated.
Afyonkarahisar is taking firm steps towards becoming a sports city. ANALIG basketball competitions have also been completed in Afyonkarahisar, which hosts many competitions. 13 teams and 283 athletes participated in the matches. As a result of the completed matches; Teams from Istanbul Anadolu and Denizli in Men’s Group A, İzmir and Istanbul Europe in Group B, Bursa and Tekirdağ in Group C qualified for the semi-finals. In the category of women; Teams from Izmir and Manisa in group A, Sakarya and Muğla in group B, and Istanbul, Europe and Çanakkale in group C qualified to participate in the semi-finals.
At the end of the matches, the medals at the award ceremony organized for the top teams; Afyonkarahisar Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Feyzullah Dereci was presented by Yılmaz Erşen, Deputy Director of Sports Services, Mustafa Asan, Director of Dormitory Services, and Ahmet Ertürk, Director of Youth Services.
