The nautical base of Saint-Laurent-Blangy, a stone’s throw from Arras, continues to evolve. A name change, it’s Riverside Park now. And with that, the arrival of new activities. Among them, a big highlight scheduled for the end of August. Baptized “The Rush for Water”, this treasure hunt-like challenge will be played as a team – family.
A treasure hunt
The mission ? It is explained by the park itself. “The descendants of the Scarpawa Tribe need help finding the lost treasure of their ancestors. The great expanses of Riverside Park await you! Go as a family to conquer this new unexplored territory. Your frantic quest will take you on water as well as on dry land. On a course full of pitfalls and surprises, you will have to call on everyone’s talents to lead your team to victory. Speed, skill, complicity and a good dose of fun will be your best weapons to measure yourself against other teams who will try the adventure. Can you find the hidden treasure of Riverside Park first?
This scripted family challenge with an orientation course will also offer an outdoor game, archery and a nautical activity in calm water. The teams (families) will be put in competition between them. Teams of 2 to 6 people made up of at least 1 adult and 1 child. From 6 years old. Obligation to know how to swim.

Saturday August 27 from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. For the smooth running of the adventure, please go to the reception of Riverside Park 15 minutes, 25 rue Laurent Gers in Saint-Laurent-Blangy. One adult and one child minimum per team. Teams of up to 6 people.
